Our household staff are full time, all year round. They have been with us for many years and we consider them part of the family. When guests are staying, the Maid, Jamila, and the Cook, Siham, sleep in their own quarters downstairs.
Ayoub, the Housekeeper, speaks fluent French and English and can arrange your airport transfers, car hire, driver or camels! Ayoub can also help with local excursions (he is from the area) including fishing, hiking in the Atlas, or simply into the souqs of Marrakesh as well as reservations and general local advice. All expenses incurred through Ayoub must be paid directly to him before you leave
Siham, speaks fluent French and some English. She makes fantastic local dishes and is also trained in French/European cuisine. Having been with us for many years, she is also an expert at home comfort food like cottage pie, stroganoff and lemon drizzle cake. Siham would be delighted to discuss the week’s menu with you on arrival (or you can leave it to her!). Please ask Ayoub if you would like a meal prepared for your arrival.
Jamila, our Maid, speaks English. Jamila is responsible for the daily cleaning and tidying, laundry, ironing and seating and eating areas outside. If you need things like straw hats for the pool, more cushions for the terrace or some fresh Moroccan mint tea, just ask Jamila.
Abd Al Hay is our Gardener, he comes every morning and tends to the garden, orchard, badminton court and swimming pool. He is also there to help with general manual tasks for instance lighting lanterns or erecting large umbrellas for the pool/dining areas.
A two minute walk along a private jasmine filled path takes you to the tennis courts, hamam and gym. These are shared with the other villas. A masseuse can also be arranged, just ask Ayoub. We have plenty of tennis racquets and balls at the house. Our family has small children, we have plenty of games, lego, puzzles, tricycles, stickle bricks and colouring pens etc as well as inflatable toys for the pool. If you would like to borrow these, please ask Jamila, and she will get them for you.
If you would like to make a booking or find out more about our villa, availability and rates, please email us and we would be delighted to help.
